About the Recipe

This Apple Crisp Macchiato Starbucks Copycat recipe brings the charm of autumn to your morning coffee with each sweet, spiced sip. Found on the Coffee Copycat website, it's quickly become my go-to coffee this fall. It's delicious hot or cold and easy to prep!

Ingredients

Coffee:

  • 2 tablespoon apple brown sugar syrup

  • 3/4 cup of oatmilk or milk of choice

  • 2 oz of brewed espresso or 8 oz of cold coffee


Spiced Apple Drizzle (optional):

  • 1 tablespoon apple brown sugar syrup

  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce

  • Whipped cream or nondairy whipped topping of choice


Other Toppings (optional):

  • Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1


Stir together the spiced apple drizzle ingredients in a small bowl or jar and set aside.



Step 2


Pour 2 tablespoon apple brown sugar syrup into a tall glass.



Step 3


Top with oat milk, then ice.



Step 4


Pour the hot espresso over the ice.



Step 5


Drizzle with the spiced apple drizzle and/or sprinkle with cinnamon if desired. Drink up!



Variations


Different Milk - Just because oatmilk is my favorite doesn’t mean it has to be yours. Feel free to swap in the milk of your choice.


Decaf - Get all the yummy caramel apple macchiato Starbucks flavors you crave, just without the buzz.


Skinny - Keep your calorie intake in check by swapping in a lighter milk variety (e.g. skim milk or unsweetened almond milk) and omitting the spiced apple caramel drizzle.


Hot - Skip the ice and opt for steamed milk to get the full cozy effect.
